Description

This technology, developed by the Swedish company AnoxKaldnes™, meets the requirements of new water treatment plants handling urban waste water in relatively small structures. The process actually treats carbon and nitrogen pollutants very effectively. It eliminates the risk of proliferation of bacteria whilst making them more resistant to variations in pollution load and toxic shock. Thus, without increasing the size of the installation, the MBBR process considerably increases its treatment capacity, whilst at the same time reducing the quantity of sludge produced.
